Summary of Our Lives as a Christian

As we continue our Journey with Jesus, there are 3 points I want you to pull from these passages of Jesus that summarizes our walk with Christ while on earth.

Point 1. Be Careful

As we continue our Journey with Jesus, there are 3 points I want you to pull from these passages of Jesus that summarizes our walk with Christ while on earth.

Point 1. Be Careful

“One day Jesus said to his disciples, “There will always be temptations to sin, but what sorrow awaits the person who does the tempting! It would be better to be thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around your neck than to cause one of these little ones to fall into sin. So watch yourselves!

Luke 17:1-3a NLT

Remember what Paul wrote to Timothy:

“Keep a close watch on how you live and on your teaching. Stay true to what is right for the sake of your own salvation and the salvation of those who hear you.†

1 Timothy 4:16 NLT

Point 2. Be Forgiving

“If another believer sins, rebuke that person; then if there is repentance, forgive. Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and asks forgiveness, you must forgive.â€â€

Luke 17:3b-4 NLT

Remember what Jesus said earlier to his disciples?

““If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.†

Matthew 6:14-15 NLT

Point 3. Be a Servant to Others

““When a servant comes in from plowing or taking care of sheep, does his master say, ‘Come in and eat with me’? No, he says, ‘Prepare my meal, put on your apron, and serve me while I eat. Then you can eat later.’ And does the master thank the servant for doing what he was told to do? Of course not. In the same way, when you obey me you should say, ‘We are unworthy servants who have simply done our duty.’â€â€

Luke 17:7-10 NLT

Do you remember what Paul wrote to the Galatian Church?

“For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love.†

Galatians 5:13
NLT  If we hold these 3 points close to us in our daily walk, we will see victory. To God be the Glory!
